Kill Bill 2
#10 Aug 03 2004 at 4:38 PM Rating: Excellent
Not seen Kill Bill 2 yet, so my vote so far has to go to Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Great story, pacing - plus funny and thought-provoking at the same time.

EDIT: I see a lot of folk are voting for Return of The King - I would too, but as it was released mid-December last year, I sort of discounted it! Also, depending on where you're posting from, The Last Samurai could have been last year's film, or this year's. I know it wasn't released here in the UK until after New Year.

#15 Aug 05 2004 at 2:55 AM Rating: Decent
eurotrip was a weak film. I expected much for from that movie, the previews were good but i was disapointed when i saw it.

Funniest movie so far is Napolean Dynamite

Best movie is still Kill Bill2 that movie rocks

You guys keep forgeting that LOTR 3 is the best movie for 2003 it swept the oscars/Academy Awards already. It won for pest picture/best director. For Kill Bill 2 it was great but I guess I was still hoping that it would be like the first with more killing, but it had to tie up the story. I can already see Passion of the Christ getting many nominations for the Oscars/Academy Awards. It will probably sweep them too who knows.

i think the cronicals of riddik is the best imo

KNUCKLE you have to understand that his thread is for best movie of the year so far. Not last years best picture.

I doubt it higly.

Maybe one or two from cinematography or set design or sound or something arcane, but no way it's getting nominated for any of the big catagories.

Your mother's a *****. You like to jack off dogs. That's right, you heard me. You like to grab that dog by the bone and rub it like a ski pole. Your dad? Gay. Your priest? Straight. **** off and let me post. It's not true, it's all in good fun. Now go away.

I know that...LOTR 3 came out last year posters are saying that it is the best movie of the year for this year 2004 from want I am gathering. So technically it can't be the best movie of the year for 2004 because it already won that title for 2003 you see ^_^

Why do you think that? just curious. I think it will get nominated for the big catagories but we will have to wait and see ;). Do you think that it will not due to its religious nature and the controversy that surrounds it?

I've seen it. I have a friend from Beijing that brought a VHS copy over.

It WILL be your favorite movie this year. It friggin' rules.

DodgeBall
Harold & Kumaar Go to White Castle
Spiderman 2
Dawn of the Dead
Punisher
Napoleon Dynamite

I'd put Kill Bill 2 here, but I consider Kill Bill 1 + 2 the same movie, so I consider it coming out with one.
