I've been a Republican for thirty years, but Bush has just gone too far. I'm going to vote Democrat for the first time in my life.

Yeah well, I've always voted Democrat but now I see that Bush is the only hope for a secure future, both militarily and economically.

So there!

Ok, Bush isn't anybody's golden boy at the moment. Explain how that qualifies John Kerry to get the job. I'd sooner vote for my cat. At least my cat wouldn't pick the gold-digger shyster cam-artist of a running mate that Kerry has. Edwards is a very good indication that John Kerry does NOT know how to do any better than Bush. I think he'd do far far worse.

IMHO: Bush has really screwed up yes first of all because of the fact that the FBI or secret service or whatever knew about the terrorist plans and knew something could happen yet he chose not to do anything about it, second of all with all of this talk of "evil doers and terrorists" It has made everyone ony care about other countries and their politics how about focusing on your own country and stop the problems there, That is why I am a democrat for the fact that Kerry is going to fight the other countries and the evil doers but he is also all for the homeland and he wants to improve the quality of life in his country. (by the way Edwards is a little wierd)

Republican, and voting that way.

I hold no illusions that Bush is perfect, or has made nothing but right decisions since he has been in office. However, I do feel that right now, with the threat of terrorism where it is and the nation somewhat instable, Bush is the best choice. Why? Because I believe that he is a decision-maker and an action-taker. Are the decisions/actions always the best ones? Probably not. But I would rather put my life/nation in the hands of a man who will act.

I'm am neither a Republic, or Democrat. Personally, I think Bush is the lesser of two evils at this point and time. I typically vote republican, because they don't go running to New Mexico when something doesn't go their way. Democrats make my teeth itch in frustration every time one of them opens their mouths. Then you add a looser like Kerry and Edwards to the mix and I don't even want to hear it. Just typing out their names irritates the living hell out of me.

I think we need a woman in the presidency, that way when PMS sets in nobody is going to argue with her. ~grin~

The woman in the office would add an interesting twist to the plot every month some little country would feel the wrath.

Well, at least there would be someone with a brain in the office. Can't say that with some of the male presidents that we have had over the years. I'm telling ya, every time I look at those guys I began to agree with women more and more. Men are stupid!

You usually vote Republican, you think Democrats are annoying and you become irate by having to type the word "Kerry"?

You sound as independant as O'Reilly claims to be.

Well, if the Democrats would put up somebody who is worth something. Then I would have no problem voting for them. I think it has more to do with the fact that they don't seem to have anybody worth voting for. That limits my choices, and that really irritates me. Unfortunately, the independents don't seem to have a clue either.

I'd like this woman to run for president. I'd vote for her in a heartbeat.

I'm voting for Kerry. He's too conservative for my tastes but for the good of this country I've got to do what I can to rectify the error of the 2000 election.

The united states needs to develop a strong third party. An alternative to these two parties. 2 parties dont speak for everyone in the united states(300 million) trust me on that.

Canada has 4 strong parties, all looking at different sides.

A Republican and a Democrat were walking down the street when they came to a
homeless person. The Republican gave the homeless person his business card
and told him to come to his business for a job. He then took twenty dollars
out of his pocket and gave it to the homeless person.

The Democrat was very impressed, and when they came to another homeless
person, he decided to help. He walked over to the homeless person and gave
him directions to the welfare office. He then reached into the Republican's
pocket and got out twenty dollars. He kept fifteen for administrative fees
and gave the homeless person five. Now you understand the difference between
Republicans and Democrats.

You forgot the part where the Republican tells the homeless guy that it's his own fault he's unemployeed and would only spend the $20 on drugs or Nike shoes. Then he encourages the homeless guy to "reskill" by taking a job at McDonalds despite his technical background because all the technical jobs are in Bombay and that McDonald's job can boost Bush's manufacturing index. Not to mention allowing Bush to crow about the "job growth" where unemployeed people get part time jobs paying a tenth of their previous wage.

Good thing I was here to correct you Smiley: smile

Actually, after you translate from retar...um, liberal, to English, yes.

Bush is a known value. I suspect him of eating crayons during some of the meetings. He acts on his religious and moral beliefs. He looks at the information in front of him and makes a decision; then sticks to it.

Kerry has presented me with nothing to vote for. Smash, I'd vote for you a lot sooner than I would John Kerry. At least you have opinions and express them. A wrong decision is better than no decision 90% of the time. I'm sorry, but 'I'm not Bush' is not a valid campaign slogan in my book. Kerry just doesn't cut the ketchup.
