And the aliens would wipe everyone out, but you know the director is gonna play with the way they function, fight, live, etc, so they have a weakness-- something the series made certain that you the viewer understood the alien lacked. The alien was invincible except for luck and rare cunning shown by Ripley.
Just what are you expecting from a movie called Alien vs. Predator? Director Paul W.S. Anderson's (Mortal Kombat, Resident Evil, etc.) a favorite whipping boy among film geeks who think someone like George Lucas makes a masterpiece with twenty more years and $200 million more, but at least his projects are unassuming and entertaining.
And don't count out the predator(s). They've gotten some upgrades since Danny Glover beat a junior member. Why do you think they wear those masks in the first place, if not to keep the aliens out of their faces?
