If Batman and Superman had to fight each other who would win and why?
My money is on Batman because he has the only 2 things that can kill Superman:
1) The Kryptonite Ring
2) Superman's trust!
Let me know what you think. BTW Brian Singer (X-Men director) has just signed on for the 2005 Superman movie.. maybe it might be better than Catwoman after all lol

Superman would destroy Batman, no contest.
Maybe I'm not up to snuff on my comic books; but isn's superman magical or some ****? Can't he fly and jump over buildings and eat bullets. Batman was human with just a bunch of really neat gadgets. I would think superman would just punch his f'in head off.

In every Batman v Superman fight Batmans tend to win because he plans ahead.

I dont think Superman was "magical" didnt it have something to do with the sun? Krypton's sun was red and ours was yellow and gave him his special powers or something to that effect.

I got into serious debate about this at one time with my friends (including one guy who has enough comics to open up his own shop) and here is outcome:
Batman would win. And here is why:
He cheats. Superman gave him a piece of Kryptonite just in case Batman ever needed to disable him. Batman carries this on him at all times. Batman knows all of Superman's weaknesses. The only weakness Supes knows that Bats has is little orphen boys.
I am sure there are more reason, but Batman would come out on top.

Just to be the devil's advocate, if Superman is so friggin smart, he'd probably plan on Batman having some kryptonite and find a way to counter it's effects. Like a kryptonite-proof suit or something. I mean, he's got to see that one coming.

Are you talking about a full-lead suit, like the ones that bomb squads wear, or one of those little lead bibs they put over your balls at the dentist? While the former of the two might be overkill, the latter should definately be required for anyone fighting a super hero. You never know when they might decide to throw chivalry to the wind and start playing dirty.

Couldn't superman just fly around the world at super speed, take out batman when he was a baby, and bedone with it?

Based loosely on the theory of relativity, one might be able to "travel forward" in time by maintaining speeds close to the speed of light, but traveling backwards in time is impossible, to the best our modern knowledge. Nice try though.

Yea I guess this is the reason that they will be releasing the 5th Batman movie next summer and Brian Singer (X-men, X-men 2 director) has just signed on to do a Superman movie in 2006.
