I was wondering if anyone had any advice to help me. I was playing FFXI last night in the Crawlers Nest and the lag was so crazy that it was affecting my game play a little (me being a pld & having to time my spells). I was wondering what I could do hardware wise, to improve my performance.
General PC Specs:
Athlon Thunderbird 1Ghz
384Mb Memory
ATI Radeon 9200 128Mb
Do you think that just increasing my system memory would help?
P.S. If you need any more harware info just let me know - its been a long time since I popped the hood of my machine.

1. Post this crap on tech support forum. That's where it belongs and you'll get better answers.
2. Get an Nvidia card. That's my $.02. I like em better.
3. Don't advertise you're an FFXIer when posting here. It tends to paint a bullseye on your ***. You may be a great guy, but some morons have given FFXI a rep for producing almost nothing but morons.

Check here in the Tech Support forum. Also get more RAM 384 is too low. Are you dialup or Broadband, that can make a significant difference.
