Metro Sucks !! ><Follow

Yeah .. I live in Maryland and routinely commute to The District of Colombia ... I don't drive (cause parking in D. C. is a NIGHTMARE) I wanna know what your opinion is regarding this topic (as follows):

The other day I missed my bus to the sub way. It was FRIGGIN 15 minutes early!! >< I know you should be at least 10 minutes early if you want to catch the bus, but FIFTEEN?! ... and i also notice that the loser bus driver keeps coming earlier and ealier as if he doesn't want to pick up fares ... WTF?! luckily this seems to only occur with one driver (The bus is hourly, btw .. so if i miss this one, I have to take a 1 hour walk to the subway station ><) My question is .. would you prefer a bus to be late (but you can still get to work on time, cause you leave early) ... OR ... would you prefer to catch the bus at the last minute (as early as possible to JUST get to work on time) ? I would prefer the bus to come late so I still get to work on time (That is just me ... I actually LIKE having time to myself before i have to deal with the crazies i work with ;) ... Better than being late because the bus driver wants to avoid doing his job and actually PICKING UP passengers >< ...

Wow, that really sucks. I would rather catch the bus at the last minute rather than wait around for it. The public transportation system is one really great thing about living in Portland. The local bus system outfitted all of the buses with GPS systems, and each bus is constantly tracked. It's also synced to their webpage, so you can literally see how long the wait for the next bus is at any given stop.

Wow chalk one up for living in hicksville. My bus is always parked in my driveway whenever I need it. Sorry to hear about your dilema.
