Just wondering what kinda stuff everyone is looking for when they're just surfing the web. I'm thinking about making a website, just looking for some input from others.

I search for.. well.. unless it's looking up a word on Merriam-Webster.com or looking for song lyrics, I have everything I need bookmarked so I don't have to surf :)

Especially when the site doesn't have a goal or a target audience in mind.
If your going to create a website I suggest you choose a topic you enjoy and are knowledgable about and work from there. Either that or just collect every animated gif you can find and set it to loud midi music on a pink background.

I search the web for computer information, info on FFXI, computer hardware, anime, web programming ideas, and checking to see if there are any new books coming out. I have built websites before. Although, right now I have a bad case of writers block. That and can't find a D&D group to make working on to keep it interesting.
Find something you love to do and can explain it or show people why you like it. Don't forget content, it is extremely important. You can visit my website, but I haven't done anything with it for months. As I said, no motivation.
