#1 Jul 15 2004 at 12:48 AM Rating: Decent
Hello,

It is my girlfriend's birthday soon, and I know she mentioned something about wanting the Linkin Park:Meteora sheet music for piano. I was wondering if any of ya would know where they would sell something liek that?

I have google searched it a lot, I see a book on on teh sheet music, except for the guitar. If anyone can help me out, I'd be eternally grateful. thank you

They have sheet music? I thought they just played their instruments as loud as they could while the blond kid yells and the other does a gay rap?

I think they probably use a keyboard, not a piano. That may be why your searches are finding nothing.

From the link that Skkeet just posted:
Quote:
key·board ( P ) Pronunciation Key (kbôrd, -brd)
n.
A set of keys, as on a computer terminal, word processor, typewriter, or piano.
Music.
A piano.
Any of various instruments, played by means of a set of pianolike keys, often connected to a synthesizer or amplifier.
Seriously, what do they teach kids in school these days?

That is only one meaning of it. Mine is the other. It refers to two different things, I was talking about electronic ones that are stated as being:
Quote:
played by means of a set of pianolike keys
Not stated as being pianos.

So it's a piano that's hooked up to an amplifyer. Fine, we'll use your definition. But the point remains that it's still a piano!

Yeah, sure, what I originally meant is that Linkin Park are probably going to use a Piano (As in a large, wooden box). They are going to use a Keyboard (Only word I can think of for what I am refering to). They already use synthesizers and amplifiers to make up for their lack of talent so why not use a keyboard too. After all, you can't program a Piano, you can program some Keyboards.

If it sounds like a piano, has keys like a piano, then it's going to have a part called "Piano".

Whether you play it on a "wooden" piano or a "keyboard" is up to you.

Being a music Major I've seen many scores, very seldom do I see one that reads "Keyboard".

And by very seldom, I mean never.

Dunno, but if you find sheet music for one of their songs, it'll probably work for any of the others.

yeah and they really need to change their style(keep those lil electronic sounds) i dont feel like listening to some depressing musik anymore, talk about how u got laid for a change..

but then again thy only have 2 albums and the best is still to come
