"Michelle is a big woman with sandy-blond hair and a trusting, jovial nature."

Hmmm, so she's fat and jolly. Aren't all obese people that way?

Totem, don't you have military experience?

What's going to happen because of this? I don't understand how this happened in the first place.

Why would they have ever inserted Pogany into that unit?

Why wasn't his sergeant trained to alert the combat-stress teams?

This whole story sickens me.

There's an article about George W Bush in GQ? Huh. Must have missed that one.

The way it is supposed to work is someone in the chain of command is to be looking for signs of unreliability and take proper action in response. What is proper action? It may entail a visit from the chaplain, a visit to the shrink, a pep-talk from the CO, an a$$ chewing-- it all depends on the person and the circumstances. If you have a person blubbering and flopping about because he has completely melted down, then more rigorous action is required-- like a trip to the battalion or divisional pyschologist.

It's not supposed to be about punitive measures. It's supposed to be about making sure the troops get what they need to perform the mission.

His Co ****** up, plain and simple. He's putting unit morale and integrity at severe risk by having that guy there. He should have folloeed the psych teams recommendations.

I don't know what's going to happen to the poor ******* (probably nothing) but his CO's carreer is over almost guranteed. Creating bad press by being a Rambo mentality **** up during wartime is a mortal carreer sin inthe military.

Edit: forgot this was OOT.
