I am all about the imports. Spaten. St. Pauly Girl. New Castle! Ahh...I can't wait until after work...umm...beer.
Saporo and Guennis...(Not sure of the spellings, but you get the drift..)
Both are tasty. Isn't Saporo Japanese?

Sapporo is horrible.
Bellhaven Ale, on the other hand. I'm an Anchor Steam fan too, but that's an aquired taste.

Any local breweries were you guys live?
My favorite beer so far is Tiger Beer!
First had a taste of it in Singapore at Hooters and I loved it.

Mostly imports for me. Heineken being my favorite. I have however developed a taste for Michelob Ultra.

Waffles aren't the only good things to come out of Belgium you know.
Guiness is great, and Michelob will do in a pinch if there is nothing else. Dos Equis is on my list, as is Labatt's and Shiner.

Guiness and Old Speckled Hen are my favorites. Hmmm.... I might even give Old Speckled Hen the edge, it goes better with food.

Bert Grant's is fantastic. My favorite somewhat local beer. For imports, St. Pauly Girl - hands down the best I've ever had. I'm sure there's better out there but for the last 15+ years this has been at the top of my list.

Trois Pistoles is great.
Ill drink any domestic beer from the states, but I prefer imports of the ale variety. Lagers are for getting drunk and partying, ales are for pure beer enjoyment.

Not big on any Miller beers although the MGD fresh from the brewery

currently enjoying kronenbourg 1664. french.

Local Breweries eh' I'm a member of the Royal Oak Brewery in Royal Oak Michigan. Their beers are excellent, I love the IPA, and even though I'm not a big red beer fan, I love the Red there. when I'm not at the brewery my favorite domestic is Sierra Nevada pale ale. I go to breweries all over the country - the best I've been to so far? Traverse City Brewery in MI, and the Portsmith Brewery in NH (I liked the IPA, but they are renouned for their Smutty Nose Lager).
Edit: I almost forgot about Dragon Mead. It's brewed locally, and it is outstanding!

Ah yes, us Michiganders have the good fortune of being able to drink from many different local microbreweries. I like Tomboy Red out of Novi

hoegaarden = belgian whit beer. like a wheat beer sorta.
kwak, duvel and urthel ar all belgian strong golden. i live in a town with a really snooty beer pub population so there are plenty of bars that stock large bottle collections as do most of the local grocery stores. i also have the benifit of playing in a band with the head brewer of a local brewery and am friends with the master brewer of another one. between those 2 ive been able to try a huge variety of stuff.
also on my list would be... pilsner urquel and any beer made by fullers.
