Man living on a farm sucks.Follow

I've lived on this little piece of **** land for about a year now, I live out in the country for those who didnt know but I used to live in the city all my life where I did absolutley nothing of hard work besides mow the lawn ( now I brushhog a whole ******* field...) and do daily chores around the house. My grandpa owns a farm and I have helped him out alot when I visit him so I'm no novice to hard work but damn, actually living on a farm sucks ***.

So anyways when we first moved here all it was was land, thorns, trees and tall grass but its shapen up abit no thanks to the hard work of me and my dad but still I hate it out here. Some of you will never know the hate that I feel and be glad you dont because in my opinion living on a farm sucks. Do any of you live on farms and do daily hard work? Do you actually like it?

Well, I live in a small city and my Uncle has 15 acres about a couple hours away from my house. When I heard the sound of 15 acres I thought his land was GIGANTIC! Most likely because I never knew what an acre really was. Anyway I go out there every once and a while to get away from everyone. It is nice, but I could not imagine waking up everyday out there when the next house lives a good mile away. No arcade, mall, etc. When I am out there I like it though. I take his ATV and just ride all over. then when I get bored of that I take one of his horses and ride through the fields.

I just can't imagine living there though. All alone... I feel sorry for you.

I perfer city life over farm life any day, I dont know what it is about farms, I just really dislike them

lol no i dont have any attractive neighbors, some cute girls live about 5 mins away and thats it. and the only attractive cousin i have is my 3rd cousin who lives in oklahoma but dont think of me as anything im just stating the facts you sick pervs.

im 16, no nothen to do in town population 1100 people and city is about 35 mins away. no cool neighbors really, so all i do is play EQ all day. i have nothing better to do, unless im outside worken or goen to work at my job. I have a social life I just choose not to live it.

I grew up on a farm. I will never, ever forget the very specific smell of ******** No matter how hard I try. and I hated driving 45 minutes each way just to see a movie or grab a burger.

That said, there sure is something nice about pissing outdoors. Yeah, I know you can do that anywhere, but people tend to stare in the mall parking lot. Cotton smells absolutely wonderful just as the sun comes up and the dew is almost dripping off the bolls. And people actually know what guns are for. Farm folk don't shoot at each other very often, at least not where I grew up. I think that's mainly because they hit what they aim at. Anybody involved in a shooting is either dead or jailed for murder after the first time they pull a trigger.

I love the convenience of the city, I hate the crowds. Currently, I'm on the outskirts of Columbia, SC, so I pretty much have the best of both at the moment. I hope it lasts.
