I don't have a Cable hookup in the room my computer's in, so I was watching The OC, and I noticed something. They showed 2 episodes back-to-back, and towards the end of both they featured covers of old songs. First was Oasis' "Wonderwall" and second was Paul McCartney's "Maybe I'm Amazed." Is this something they do in every episode?

Not sure, but then again... I don't really care. The OC sounds like a super hyped up soap opera with media influence and attractive stars... I think the same may have been done with Bevery Hills, 90210, in fact... I'm pretty sure it follows the exact same formula, only revised to better suit today's viewing audience. Point proven that recycling isn't always the best.

I've seen 3 episodes. It's like 90210 if they went to formal parties every week instead of The Peach Pit. Also, the dialogue is less cheesy and the girls are hotter and sluttier. Not something I would watch regularly though, I was just curious about the music.

Hot and slutty girls is a good thing! Anyway, I don't know much about the whole music thing, though I wouldn't doubt that the show does typically end with a cover song... It's the cool thing to do in today's world!

From what I've heard, the OC sounds like another Melrose Place ... which I never watched either, so I could care less. I was never into those shows such as 90210, Melrose Place, etc. Blech. Such bad acting!
