If Wile E. Coyote had enough money to buy all that Acme crap, why didn't he just buy dinner?

He probably used credit cards, and probably ones that were not his at that - that little scammer! And you probably can't use credit cards at the Bubba's BBQ out there in the desert...Of course, I'm just speculating.

Because its the principle of the matter. Road runner was his worst enemy, he got obsessed with catching Road runner that it became his main purpose in life. no hunger or sleep or even falling from high cliffs that would make him a pancake could stop him. getting dinner instead of catching the road runner is unfathomable for him. so thats why hye kept trying, and till this day if you go out to the desert you can hear him...beeb beeb!

What I don't get is... if the bomb is supposed to blow up the Road Runner.. why doesn't it blow up Wile E. Coyote when it backfires on him?

(The same holds true with Elmer shooting Daffy during Rabbit Season, and Inspector Gadget avoiding all the bombs and explosions Claw sets up for him... )

Well maybe he made a few refunds and instead of getting money he only got credit to Acme.
