Yeah, I'm stationed at Fort Stewart, Georgia. I normally frequent the Shadow-Dragons.com boards, but they've been down lately.
Anyway, I went through the Iraq war and several months of subsequent BS, and it was great to come home and find a cool *** MMORPG waiting for me (and my wife, but FFXI rules:)
My buddy went through the war with me and we both play. So, I know at least 2 military folks who play and love the game.

barksdale aint too bad, well cept its in lousiana
I've been there a couple of times. If I recall the nearest place that doesn't look like a scene from Deliverance is Little Rock, and that's just more like a scene from Cool Hand Luke. Not to mention it's like 4 hours away. With the exception of Loring, it's easily wins my ******** award.
