Is it just we, or wasn't the Middle Earth Online project closed? Apperently it is still up and running, with a schedudled release around late 2005! Was anyone else under the same impresion?

I think its gonna rock or suck...I don't think there's much of a middle ground. One of the things they need to be careful about is making it too oriented to the actual storie. It should be quite possible to go on living thru the game in your own little world and not have gameplay too directed towards the Fellowship stuff...later

I heard the rumor that the game had been scrapped, but the website never confirmed it. /shrug

I've been keeping my eye on this one. If it does actually get released I'm sure I'll give it a try.
