Are you implying that lions aren't native to Ohio?

Maybe it's the Cowardly Lion.

To make a long story short, I don't take any responsibility for anything I post here. It's not news, it's not truth, it's not serious. It's parody. It's satire. It's bitter. It's angsty. Your mother's a *****. You like to jack off dogs. That's right, you heard me. You like to grab that dog by the bone and rub it like a ski pole. Your dad? Gay. Your priest? Straight. **** off and let me post. It's not true, it's all in good fun. Now go away.

My guesses on what it is, from most to least likely:

Tan VW bug (old model)
Discarded brown bathtub by side of road
Largish cardboard box blowing in wind (Perhaps with picture of lion on it)
Great Dane
Lesser Dane
A large danish
N. American mountain lion
African lion

I don't think you gave due credit to a large danish.

I find it amusing that a previous lion sighting was a great dane.... =)

Great danes eat people in Ohio. Didn't you know that? It's nothing to laugh about.

Hold on a second. This is the second lion sighting in Ohio? I think all that burning rubber is warping their minds.

I also lke the fact that the mayor is only "a bit skeptical".

I bet these are the same people who burn witches on the weekends and look up only to see that the sky is falling

Hey, give them a break, it's Ohio. The only thing they've got going for them is Cleveland, and even that's a bit sketchy at times.

"The employee, Jack Dingess, 41, said he thought he was "tripping out" when he saw the animal crouching under a semitrailer in the parking lot of the business." He said he thought he was tripping out. Why would he think he was tripping out unless he was on some illiegal substance. Maybe the whole state is tripping out on some illiegal substance. No?

All three confirmed lion sightings took place Monday night in Gahanna. Witnesses said that they spotted a female lion, weighing anywhere between 300 and 400 pounds.
I'd like to know by whom these sightings were confirmed.

After examining the latest supposed lion paw print, animal experts said that a deer made it.
My money's still on the great dane.

Goodness, there are times I'm embarrased to say that I'm from Ohio. This situation passed that point quite a while back...

And if Lauren gets to move, so do I! (We could actually save some money by sharing a U-haul...)

Some (Ohioan?) is sitting at home, petting his great dane and chuckling to himself.
