Which would you like to see made next?
Fantastic Four is coming out soon as well as Spiderman 2, Hulk 2 is in the works and X Men 3 is planned for next year.
So what hero would you think should be out next (counting other companies besides Marvel)?

I would like to see some more DC comic characters brought to life... the Green Lantern movie is long overdue.

There was a (short-lived, I think) TV series called Birds of Prey from the DC world, but though they stole the title of the comic "Birds of Prey" - usually starring Oracle, Black Canary, Huntress and sometimes Spoiler and Batgirl, the show itself was.. uh. Yeah. I shudder just to remember it. I watched it a few times. They had Oracle in the clocktower, but the main hero was called the Huntress (I think) and she was like Batgirl, except metahuman and the daughter of Catwaman (metahuman) and Batman, and then Batman went insane (or something) and left Gotham when Oracle (aka: Batgirl) got shot by the Joker.

So, it sucked. :P

But other than that, "Rising Stars" would be interesting to see made into a movie. I can't remember the author of it offhand. Premise is a comet passes by the Earth (or hits the Earth, can't remember which), and every child in a small town that was concieved at that moment is born with special powers. And it proceeds from there. Very interesting. :)

I'm not a big fan of the Green Lantern. I always thought the concept behind him was pretty weak. Oooh, I have a magic ring! Yaaay me!
No thanks.
Also, just to add, they are doing Superman again as well.

As for other heros I wouldn't mind seeing..
Well, maybe the Silver Surfer or Iron Man. I would suggest Thor, but they would end up making that one cheesey as hell.

I think a movie about Shazam is long overdue. Think of something along the lines of Kingdom Come and you see what I want to see as the movie.

X Men 3

Planned release of May 3, 2006. Script isnt even finished yet.

As for other movies they are working on batman movie right now, AvP movie is based ofa comic that was based off two movies, superman has been in the talks for forever.

Over all i think the sucess of spiderman 2 will gauge if comic book movies will die out like most genres or keep going for a few more years.

I disagree. There is enough comic fanboys out there to keep the comic movie industry going. Granted it wont have the budgets they do now, but they could keep it going.

I also think they should have got the guy who did the Batman: Dead End movie short to do the next Batman movie.

Honestly, the only thing lamer than movies derived from comic books are movies derived from video games.

Are you aware the 70s television show is being broadcast these days?

It makes me cringe and giggle, simultaneously.

I'd love to see Spawn redone. Michael Jai White and Lohn Leguizamo were awesome, but the graphics weren't what they are now. With today's abilities hell, they probably could just CGI Spawn (the character) and no one would know.

I'm very interested in the Ghost Rider movie comming out in 2005. Nicholas Cage as Johnny Blaze is a cool concept on an already great character.
So unless there's a Groo movie in the works I'm not interested in any other comic to movie. Except maybe Spiderwoman. I mean they really, really screwed up Spiderman by making the swinging scenes from a videogame. How lame.
