Relationship coming to a close for meFollow
I don't know what to do fellas.
It's been 5 1/2 wonderul years. I'm so attched to her still, although I know she doesn't love me. I've changed so much for her I don't know who I am anymore. I still want to be friends with her, but I always feel when she does talk to me ,it feels like we'll be ok, like any other fight. But now I'm starting to realize that we may never become whole again. How long is it going to hurt, and what have some of you done in the past to get over it?
I just put so much into this.
My advice: drink.

Gadin, my best friend hooked up with one of my dorm friends back when we were freshman and they were together for about the same amount of time as you. They survived 2 years on just ICQ and holiday visits and seemed perfect for each other. Then suddenly it just didn't fit anymore and it was pretty shocking because they'd made a lot of life changes and stuff just to be together. All I can say is that the pain will go away and leave you with experience; you just have to get through the hard part a day at a time.
She's really leaving me for a chance to hook up with a guy she met in EQOA, but I'll be the first to leave!

You know, if it's any consolation, the guy is probably fat and lives in his parent's basement.
