Needs further testing but I was in Proto-Omega and casted requiem for ***** and giggles... Told my LS in vent, "It'll TOTALLY stick this time" and much to my suprise...

Copy/paste since I don't know how to embed images on this forum it seems.

Definitely going to try this out on more mobs, but maybe SE buffed it. In which case we'll finally be able to compete on the DoT front.

Did it land just once, or consistently?

Landed all 3 times I cast it. I was really shocked. Next time we do BV2/ZNMs/whatever I'm going to spam it and see how it fairs. If SE removed the "Everything and it's dog is immune to requiem status" this update I'm going to be quite pleased.

And that's not even Requiem VII O.o Maybe they did fix it ^^.

I just tried landing each tier of Requiem (including 7) on Zipacna, couldn't land.

EDIT: My bad, Ullikummi

Well, I still wouldn't expect amazing results on Ix'Aerns/Zip/light based NMs, though I really am curious about non light based ones. My debuff set on BRD is pretty good, and FYI I was 75 BRD for that and didn't bother popping on requiem flute for it, since I was mainly trying to be a smart ***.

Landing Requiem on Proto-Omega isn't exactly difficult.....

Not saying it lands 100%, but it's almost never more than a second cast away against him, even before the update.

Yeah, I've never had noteworthy trouble landing it on omega.

Requiem has always landed on Proto-Omega. My debuff set is pretty close to perfect, but I've always had about a 70% or higher land rate on that song on Proto-Omega.

It's definitely one of those "you never know till you try" moments, but the song is certainly ideal to counter the regen when you're holding it.

Ditto above, never had issues with sticking requiem on Omega other than the rare resist that always stuck next cast.

It's been answered, but I'll chime in anyways. Requiem has always worked on Proto-Omega. It's actually fairly consistent for an above-average BRD to land(ie: an actual debuff set, with the proper +4 instrument, HQ staves and possibly sing/wind merits). Actually, I think its pretty reliable even for normal BRDs.
