My uncle and I are going to try this soon, he is NIN75 and I'm BRD75 (duh) but I have a few questions because I've never actually fought it :(
1) Does Elegy work? Is it hard to land? What about Lullaby for osh*t moments? If Lullaby doesn't work, does Requiem?
2) How accurate is he? I want my NIN's evade rate to be capped (80%) but he doesn't have merits. /DNC gives +10 EVA to begin with and his skill is capped but like I said, not merited. EVA gear he has available is O.Hat, Evasion Torque, Melody Earrings +1 x2, Scorpion Harness, Rasetsu Tekko, Arhat's Hakama, Arhat's Sune-Ate +1 which is a total of +35 EVA, +19 EVA skill, and +4 AGI. Along with Dragonfoe Mambo, would that be enough to cap Evade? Or would I have to give him Sheepfoe too?
3) If Dragonfoe is enough to cap his EVA, should I give him Madrigal for ACC or ATT so he feeds less TP but every hit counts more?
4) With Sushi and if he can manage to keep Quickstep level 5 on it, and assuming about +30 ACC from gear, how decent will his ACC be?
5) Any other tips you can give me would be appreciated as well.

Elegy works (and is highly recommended to keep up 100%; Elegy + Slow/Hojo owns this guy in the face), Requiem works and doesn't feed any TP so you might as well keep that up too for extra damage. As far as I can tell he's completely immune to any form of sleep, even with Elemental Seal.
I'd go with March as the 2nd song for Haste timer, personally. He should not need a 2nd Mambo. TP attacks are the primary threat here since his physicals will be quite nerfed by Elegy+Hojo; you'll want to make sure that he can maintain shadows for the TP moves though, because he won't have Haste (the spell).
Also, I'd go with eating meat instead of sushi; capped accuracy is not quite as important in this fight as making your hits count (remember that every hit landed on Charybdis also gives him TP). LV5 Quickstep + Desperate Flourish should help with the hit rate.

Well my other concern is that since he's NIN/DNC, he's going to need TP too, which is why I'm concerned about ACC. Maybe Marinara Pizza for the best of both worlds?

Meat's gonna be better for this than pizza. BRD+NIN on this NM has been done thousands of times before DNC came out. Don't worry about TP for waltz.

I killed him about 2 weeks ago on my thf. I had a brd, rdm and me on thf (was playing all 3, fun keeping track of shadows with 3 windows open) As far as the fight goes its very easy. I did double eva songs and haste from rdm, but I have done it before w/ just me (thf) and a brd. For that the eva and haste songs are fine.
Just tell you uncle to wear all eva stuff and he should be able to ichi tank him w/ np. I only used Ni after his AoE move.
I used sushi b/c that is all I had on me and it should be fine for your uncle. With elegy and his enfeebles it will be np.

I'd go for /DNC or /THF over /WAR personaly. You guys should have very little trouble with it NIN + BRD rocks.

On the topic of food, I remember reading a post somewhere on the nin forums saying there was a significant time difference when using meat over sushi (much longer for meat).

I've tanked him several times for other people and he's not that hard. I've done this with both my taru and elvaan characters. Landing hojo and elegy is the key alongside watching for the aoe and curing. Other than that I think the fight will be easy but long since you two are lacking in dmg. I just wish other players were nice and help me get my own :/

When I duo'd him he wanted me to use double haste. It worked fine. The hardest part was getting the TOD.
