Capping StoneskinFollow
Extremely unlikely unless you're spending way too much for it?
Here's a reasonable stoneskin equip setup for a 75 BRD, nothing too crazy:
Chanter's Staff = 6
Bugard Strap +1 = 1
Zenith Crown = 3
Promise Badge = 5
Geist Earring x2 = 2
Errant Houppelande = 10
Devotee's Mitts = 5
Sapphire Ring x2 = 8
Rainbow Cape = 3
Penitent's Rope = 5
Errant Slops = 7
Suzaku's Sune-Ate = 15
As a Mithra I'll have like 63-65 MND at 75 (which is a guess) and the above totals out to +70. With WHM level 37 enhancing at 105, and 135 MND (best case) my SS will cap out at 320, which is respectable but still unfortunate. Am I missing something or is this the best I can do on a reasonable budget?

Yigit head has MND+4, one more than zenit (NQ).

64 as /WHM, not a guess >.>
If you happen to get a Muse Tariqah, that + a Misericorde is 9-10 MND, depending on NQ or HQ dagger, which would edge out the Chanters + grip (though you could use a Raptor Strap +1 for +2 MND there instead of +1, making it closer).
'course, if you're not casting under tremendous time pressure, you can also give yourself MND Etude(s).

Couple things:
Weapon - Pride Staff (+7)
This is easier for me to justify personally because I don't own a Chanter's.
Head - Choral Roundlet +1 (+6)
If you've finished upgrading the important AF+1 pieces, this one is a worth candidate for the MND +6. Also, Goliard Chapeau (MND +5) isn't as difficult to get these days so that might also be an option.
Legs - Bard's Cannions (+8)
Yeah, it's a Xarc drop but there's a decent chance that this piece won't be highly contested.
Ring - Tamas Ring (+5)
Tamas is a nice free ring if you haven't picked something else.
Back - Aslan Cape (+5)
A lot of people who do Einherjar regularly find themselves sitting on sizable amounts of ampoules, since it's relatively easy to get the must-have items quickly. So this item might be an option for you.
This is all I can think of at the moment. Making a good stoneskin build makes a huge difference and I kick myself for not making one sooner.

Pretty damn impressive I'd say; most bards don't reach stoneskin cap, let alone break it with a stone gorget.
A mere 15 Hp off the cap with a stone gorget too, quite impressive.

Yes, I wish we had a wider selection of shields - I know most BRD never use them but some of us have builds where they would help a lot.
Muse would be very nice for BRD, in addition to being great in some situations for BST (Primal Rend build as /RDM springs to mind).

considering i just got lvl 75 an hour or two ago, i suppose it's not too bad, lol. tbh the only thing i actually got for brd though was zhead, i already had the rest from rdm/nin.
once i get a bit more money i can cap it off with a second communion earring, aqua ring, and pride staff, but i'm happy with 365 for now.
