Happy to say I just hit 70 few minutes ago!

Dagger already skilled up so I only need to read a bit more about maat fight and ready to beat the old man.

After that, only 5 more levels until the ultimate goal!

First HNM (ZNM) burn alliance ever. Killed the cerb ZNM a few times in about 20sec ea. Fun to see 30M in items and a bunch of ra/ex drop so easily.

Not sure how amazing this is, but having not played for quite some time and picking up brd as my "starter" job again...

Got the Hadean Abj. Body last Sunday (after months and months and 15+ Odin without a drop). Waited a week for fullmoon/darksday because I'm superstitious.

Beat Maat yesterday on my BRD70 Taru dual boxed char (Melodyhp on Bismarck), he actually killed me but I reraised and casted Foe Requiem VI and that made him quit.

Got Opo-Opo Crown a couple hours after the Maat fight too.

Finally got the 11/12 orihalcum ingots to pay for Marduk head, and borrowed the last one from a friend.

So the Marduk Tiara will be in my hot little hands tomorrow! In the meantime, I went ahead and stored my bard relic set, since the head was the last piece I was wearing full time.

I also picked up Choral Cannions+1.

Two more steps closer to the perfect March setup!

(Horn is at 40/64 and 60/70. It's gonna be a while.)

So I hit 75 brd the other day, and personally I don't like bird merit parties, but I wanted to cap XP so I figured I'd do some campagning. I threw a mishmash of gear together, grabbed some random dagger and went out hunting.

I have to say, it's the most fun in campaign I've ever had. I was Brd/Whm (for reraise/erase/SS), I had some Jardiah/dusk/acc stuff on and was singing haste/ballad.

I was shocked at how much damage I was actually doing. Normal hits were in the 30s-50s and Evicerations up to and exceeding 400. After a two wave battle I walked away with 3100 experience points. I grouped up with a few regular campaigners and was earning a good 25-50% more exp than they were.

All in all, a very positive experience and a good alternative to the normal grind of a merit party. Give it a shot, you won't be disappointed.

5/5 on bard AF2 after getting cannions this past weekend. Now to get these last 6 levels on BRD.

Killed Aspid. A.Body dropped. Bid all my shell points on it because I officially had nothing left to lot (for bard, which is all I lot) in endgame. The rest is salvage pieces and capping my craft. And stuff like BRD relic-1 where RDMs aren't trying to outlot me. Buggers.

It feels good.

I finally managed to get my Echo's Cape yesterday for bard.
Another thing I'm proud of is the loquacious earring I got about a week and a half ago.

Just got mine today. Once I put this last merit in for 4/8 wind, I'll be at 503 skill :( .

1/12 on drop, one with TH4 and the drop was with TH2.

Just turned in my marid leathers for Marduk Crackows. I'm now 3/5 completed Marduk pieces, with the 3/3 for the Jubbah itself waiting for me to magically become rich overnight.

Now if only the Giant Spiders would pony up some Enlil's Braes . . . I'd be done with Marduk forever.

I also have less than 1500 coins to go to be done with Gjallarhorn. Got my fragment a few weeks back. I think I'm finally close enough to actually turn in my stage 2 . . . so I'm going to do that soon. Exciting!

Given this fact and the fact that it doesn't actually deal Blunt damage to mobs that only take Blunt damage suggests that it might actually be Slashing damage.

To stay on topic though, I got Marduk's Tiara and Marduk's Dastanas this past week, bringing me to 4/5 on full Marduk (only needing the 15 body from Bhaflau to totally complete it).
