When casting a 'song' and the effects take place. Is that it? Am I done? Or must a bard keep continually playing his instrument in party battles for the effects to stay?
Just wondering if I could cast a song, then go in a fight for a few minutes, then recast it? How does it work exactly? Thanks.

it works just how you thought it did.
Each song you use on your party lasts exactly 2 minutes. Cast 2 songs, then you can go in to fight for awhile. They usually last the whole battle so you don't have to recast until the monster dies.
