Good crafting skills for Bst?Follow

I’m back after a five year break and loving most of the new changes. I heard that some of the crafts have kind of been rendered useless though because many of the valuable synths have become worthless because of increased drops or floods of materials. I had been focusing on cooking since I’m a BST but I had been hoping to take on an armor crafting skill as well at some point. I had already leveled bonecraft up to about 30 before I left because I kept collecting so many animal parts, but stopped because I didn’t have any leatherworking skill. While I would always want something profitable, I mainly want a craft that will allow me to make my own armor or weapons. I always find that so rewarding in MMOs. Should I stick with BC or find something else?

Cooking is going to be the one that benefits BST the most with dawn mulsim/jugs/pet food all being made by cooks. Most of the good items you're going to want to equip at endgame are non craft able. You may use a few items that are crafted but probably no one single craft will do as much for you as cooking, especially if you also level synergy.

When it comes to sitting around not doing anything for long periods of time, only being active for short windows, and marginal changes and sidegrades I'd say FFXI players were the perfect choice for politicians.

Seconding that for Olorinus. You might also consider doing fishing to go with the cooking.

Also cooking other than the final 3 levels is the cheapest craft to level actually, if you play your cards right and are willing to farm.

Thirding that lol, had cooking levelled from years ago, it's made bst so cheap for me, also helps I have fishing levelled too.
Necro Warning: This post occurred more than thirty days after the prior, and may be a necropost.

A bit much, I know, but fourthing this. Since I leveled BST I have been leveling Cooking along the way and it has been a huge help and money saver in the long run. Cooking is the way to go.
