BST Solo HNM/KSNM etc :: World of Warcraft

Hey!

I've recently started playing again on a new char and I gonna lvl BST. I just wonder since I've read alot about BST still being the best soloing job that can manage pretty big fights. I've seen a BST solo Kirin but I've read but not seen BST solo any of the following HNMs/KSNMs

Fafnir/Nidhogg
Vrtra
Tiamat
Early Bird Catches the Wyrm

Is it true that BST can solo these?

I don't know about Early Bird, once he goes up in the air I don't think you'll be able to get him down solo. Someone else may now more. But you can solo the other black belt KSNM Horns of War, pretty easy fight actually just let the pet do all the work.

yeah, bst can solo all the ones you listed EXCEPT for Early Bird catches the worm.

bring a nuker to bring the wyrm down when it goes airborne, and bst pet and solo the rest no problem.

blu can solo early bird, but its a challenge. you have to be a really good blu to pull it off.

All right, that's awesome hehe. I'm a returning player and killing those old school HNMs would be fun. I guess I'll have to team-up on Early bird. Thanks for the info!

What about HNM's and BCNS"s KSNM's like:

Horns of War (not to sure about this KSNM)
Behemoth (pretty sure bst can solo him)
KING Behemoth (not to sure about this guy)

Send you pet and stay out of range.
Have pet food with you to cure.

easy solo.

I just got my Behemoth Tongue from the KS99. I had no idea it could be soloed until this thread. Thanks!

Can't solo Early Bird Catches the Wyrm, but you can duo with a SMN. Gooey tanks, and when he goes up in the air, Leviathan uses Grand Fall to get him back down. Could use Ramuh's Thunderstorm as well, but Levi will take less damage. SMN just needs to keep up Barfire since they have to get within range of Fireball to BP.

But I read on some other forums where BST/SCH could use Dark Arts and use spells to get him down. Or BST/RNG but I doubt it will be enough to get him down.

Btw the Wyrm got regen right? what happens if he goes down and regens some HP. Does it fly again?

The wyrm will not fly again.
I've wiped to him before and he regen'd full.

If you can get him down, even w/ a wipe, your pet has not trouble ripping his hp down from 100%.
