I'm putting together a gear set to macro in for situations when the pet is doing all of the fighting, and I stand safely at a distance. Obviously in this scenario, a full set of gear that enhances the pet's stats would be ideal. I have a few good pieces for such a set, but there are slots that still need to be filled in. I'm looking for suggestions to fill in the blanks, or to replace what I have if there are better options. I'm semi new to BST, so I'm thinking there may be some rare/ex gear out there that I'm not yet aware of. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Here is what I have so far:

Axes: -pdt Astolfo X2
Head: Anwig Salade w/ pet augments
Neck: Beast Torque
Ear1: ___________
Ear2: ___________
Body: Mirke Wardecors w/ pet augments
Hands: Beast Bazubands
Ring1: ___________
Ring2: ___________
Back: ___________
Waist: Moepapa Stone
Legs: [Working on ASA legs w/ pet augments]
Feet: [Working on Armada Sollerets w/ pet augments]

Looks like you've got most of the staple gear nailed down. :)

Some other options to consider:

Neck: Ferine Necklace, Shepherd's Chain
Ear: Ferine Earring, ACP Ivory Key Augmented Earrings
Ring: Ebon Key Augmented Rings, or use Paguroidea Ring/Sheltered Ring for Regen
Back: Oneiros Cappa, Fidelity Mantle, Ferine Mantle
Legs: Ferine Quijotes +2
Feet: Bestia Greaves

You got most of the important ****, and Book got most of the rest. A few I can think of

Novia Earring- Not a bad pet only engage piece, since the ACP earrings are annoying (at best) to obtain.
Demonry Core
Sheaperd's Chain
Kirin's Osode- Depending on if your Mirke is a call beast macro piece or a pet fulltime, having a Regen+2 body is useful

Wait...if I equip regen gear, does the regen effect get applied to the pet as well? Even if the gear just says "regen" and not "pet: regen"? If so, do any other equipment traits function that way? i.e. Can I wear Double Attack gear and have my pet gain Double Attack?

Perhaps you're misinterpreting what someone posted, because I don't know of any gear that works this way.
