DING! BST21/WHM10 \(^.^)/

starting to get the hang of this one... xp seems a bit slow, but I'm having fun with it. I've been pouring over articles on the job for a week or so now :)

...i foresee some serious cooking coming in my very near future lol

I know this isn't that much of an accomplishment any more, but I finally hit 75 for the first time, and it was as a BST.

I started with the ps2 release, ended up on pc, and 3 characters later here I am. BST for the win.

Lets revive this thread. :)

Soloed Manifest Destiny (the second last BCNM for past Windurst storyline). Was ridiculously easy, Yuly was barely scratched, used 3 rewards, and it took under 10 minutes.

Almost soloed At Journey's End (the final BCNM), but NM cheated and used death-ga (missed pet, but killed the npc that caused the BC to fail). -_- Well I died once because it seems that if you can see the NM, Howling Moon will hit you (I mean can't even see stuff in log anymore, but see the NM), but just got up, called new pet and kept going. :P

Ding 90bst of course, ding 5/5 AF3+1, ding +2 pants, ding ducal guard atma, ding 2 pet pdt-10% axes, ding MDK hat with pet haste and pet pdt-... my bst is starting to look decent. :D Next stop after these quests is to get shepherd's chain and atma of the lion to complete my pdt-100% set.

Ding 25 Bst/nin :). I had been leveling as bst/rdm until 24 and tried bst/nin. I don't have whm leveled at all and was absolutely going to do everything I could to not lvl it. I was going to go bst/dnc from 30-90 as my dnc is already 50.

Well after about 15 min playing with funguars in jugner forest i quickly realized that I just need to lvl whm. Multiple very long Paralyzes and poisons and realized I couldn't do /nin or /dnc all the way to 90.

So Yesterday I took blm from 1-21 and now gonna take whm up to 49 with a gimp sub. I despise mage jobs I really just don't like it.

Thought I'd share my recent adventures :).

Congratulations Krucx! Damn, 25-58 in a week? That's fast!

Congratulations Olorinus! Leave is awesome, isn't it? :D

I returned for rematch on At Journey's End BC, and won! Solo of course. ^_^ This time the NM didn't cheap it out and death the helper NPC.

And ding AF3+2 head!

Also awed a fellow bst by soloing Teekelchessen for his ducal guard atma. :P I'm sure he'll be as happy with the atma as I've been. ^_^

Kinda un-ding, 0/8 on Shepherd's chain at the moment... I hate that NM. -_-

Ding BST 40 - got my first ever bit of AF gear - my Axe.

Grats on the AF Sharain! And grats on the soloing of NMs. That alone is why I have decided to make BST my first main - when I can't find anyone to help, I want to be able to do it myself

:)

after 40 I took a bit of a break - working on DNC at the moment cause it seems like it would be a kick **** sub to have, especially going outside of fields of valour areas (no refresh). I am rocking a RDM sub atm cause it is what I took to 30 to unlock BST, but I want to have more flexibility in terms of where I go soloing.

Grats on 40 and AF axe Olorinus. ^_^

Shepherd's chain got! Finally! 1/11! Just before servers went down. :)

Also got Selemnus belt, 1/1 on that, when helping a newbie get bomb coal for Genkai 1. That NM is such a joke at lvl 90, barely took 30% of sheep's hp, and I wasn't wearing any pet pdt- gear.

Now my pet defense set is purrrrfect... fear me NMs! :P

WOOT!! Finally got my Shepherd's Chain! Logged on as soon as I got up, about 2 hours after servers came back online. Don't know if anyone killed Okyupete before I logged on, but after killing 3 placeholders he popped and dropped the chain. 1/~20.

100% Pet -PDT {I can have this.}

Woo, congratulations Yankeestom! That build is awesome.

I destroyed a ton of NMs yesterday with it. Went to farm atmas with friend, he procced red and I killed. We killed Dozing Dorian, Megamaw Mikey, Karkinos (and of course Nahn and Poroggo Dom Juan that could pop it), Ruminator, Ovni and Trudging Thomas in La Theine Abyssea. Well we had a few more people there for Ovni and Karkinos (teamed up with another group) that kept getting themselves killed and hp'ing and coming back while the pet kept on trucking. :P Also pet tanked Hadhyoshi (the behemoth) for a while when all melees went down, but eventually meteor spam got it (since I had used my whole stack of petfood on Karkinos's venom shower spammage) and new pet couldn't get hate from the mages.

Then moved to Tahrongi, and killed Adze, Quatzalli, Manananngal and Iratham. I was amused when the nin who insisted that he tanks kept dying and then the pet was repeatedly hit for 0 dmg. :P

I loled.

I just got BST 51 (-1 exp) yesterday. Did my limit break quest, now just need to get that 1 exp and do the next break to be solid for 10 levels. Woooo. I have an LS mate who said they would help with the AF as well. Looking forward to the next step of BSTdom!

(oh and I haven't gotten any of that exp in Abyssea - all jugs and charms on the outside!)

Ding 61! and my level breaks are all done until Maat. Got my AF feat, body and hands - I have the key to get my AF headpiece too. Legs are the only ones that will take any real work.

FINALLY got Selemnus Belt! My pet -dt set is now complete gear-wise. Still need to do Nyzul Isle (haven't started yet) to get another 10% mdt, but 100/73 is very nice for now!

Been a while since I checked this thread, just wanted to say grats to all my fellow bst's on your dings. I'd probably cry, but then I'd smell like wet wool, and that'd be kind of nasty.

Ding AF3+2 body and boots! Only hands to go. Ding charmer's merlin (such a sweet axe) and a fake relic to toy with from Amhuluk. Also, ding relic hands, that new Dynamis is great, can just walk in there and walk out with a lot of armor. ^_^ Maybe I should go and try get relic boots for reward next.
