I really want to play Rng... however I never see ANYONE shouting that they are looking for one and I hardly EVER see any in abyssea. RNG can't proc red really... can't proc yellow (Most important for seals) and can proc a little blue.
Is RNG subject to just... use another job to get gear for it... then maybe go kill a Mega boss once in a while with RNG for some leet dmg. Does anyone really need a RNG anymore? is there anything we shine at Besides DMG? Cause all the NM fights, damage is like the last thing you worry about. Hell Dmg can cause party wipes if not careful.

Honestly Ranger is not a highly valued job anymore. Abyssea XP mobs die fast enough as it is. Popping out huge WS numbers and causing Red can be bad with pickup abyssea groups. Blue procs are normally the least common, it normally the other 2 that people go after and blue if we happen across it. It seems that the tier 1 seal NMs are nearly dead after a decent BLM tries all his/her procs, even nuking nearly nekkid. for the higher NM's I'm just not seeing anything special to break RNG into a wanted job.

You can check if Yaanei is up without having to climb that blasted mountain.
RNG is still fun, but has no place in lowmanning. And frankly, non-lowmanning has no place in Abyssea. RNG can't WHM, tank, TH10, stun, nuke, proc, or much of anything else specialized (Shadowbind isn't a crux of strategies these days). Cirein-croin (or w/e) kiting is about the only thing suited to RNG that comes to mind.

I've used my RNG against EVERY mob in this game, there is very few if any fights where RNG is not a viable DD.
