What do people think? I was thinking:

SA/VV/Drift

OR

SA/VV/RR

OR

SA/VV/GH

I'm sold on SA/VV I guess, but can't decide on the third. Thoughts?

Sea Daughter is one atma to check into.

5tp/tic regain on RNG is impressive.

Excellent point--I had dismissed that for melee awhile back for anything but WS only type fights on melee, but it's great on RNG, 100TP a minuteish for doing nothing.

Depends on the fight.
If you are going to be /ra for any significant length of time, RR, VV and Sea Daughter will likely be the best. Stout arm subs in for RR if you are mostly just weaponskilling.

You can't dismiss the crit rate and crit damage bonus on ranged attacks. Hitting 1k normal shots can be intoxicating lol.

Depending on what you have going on, might be worthwhile looking into an sTP atma. 20 sTP can make a lot of tough decisions go away, or make a lot tougher (and more rewarding) decisions enter the equation!

Atma of the Scorpion Queen, Sun Eater, and Persistent Predator look to give major sTP boots along with Crit Hit Rate, Conserve TP, and Increased TP on Taking DMG respectively.

I use Ultimate and Beyond, and when I get the third lunar abyssite, gonna probably add sea daughter.

How much are people's slugs doing with normal melee atmas?

I've sort of gone away from store TP builds of late. Because of conserve TP, regain from atma and Tactician's roll, it's hard to have a reliable setup anymore. Yes, I put some store TP into my build but I no longer fuss as much about hitting a "cap".

Gonna crunch some nummers on sTP and regain sometime tonight unless I get caught up playing a racing game or Kings of Chaos lol.

Do CORs seriously do that roll? Also; when the **** do people actually get these buffs? I haven't had a song or roll on my RNG since last September when I actually had an LS and did Odin.

It's pretty simple - I use Ultimate/Beyond with Trueflight, I'm interested to see what people get with normal Str/Att atmas and slugshot.

Atm Trueflight does about 2.2k with only Beyond/Ultimate, AGI cruor buff (+40) and velocity shot /sam. On top of that it can't miss, and the rare time it does it'll still do 1.1k.

Edit: Using Apollo's Staff. No sea gorget or equivlent belt, missing ugg pendant and the agi/mab back piece among other things, so ws gear is:
Apollo's/Pax/HF+1/Silver
Denali/Arctier/Moldy/Volley
Osode/Skote/Breeze/Breeze
Amem+1/Scout's/Denali/AF3+1

Doesn't that rape your DPS? I know DPS vs WS split is leaning more towards WS these days with atmas and all, but you can't leave it completely out of the equation.

Well as an example. In a dom party last night against sand sweepers, my sidewinders were 1.6-1.8k and arching arrow were 1k-2.4k. regular shots were 250 and crits wer 350 (about 40% crit rate). That was with RR/SA atma.

Of course dolls are a pretty damage resistant mob so I'm not sure how it would differ on a piercing weak mob.

My question for Noodles... if you are building a trueflight setup, are you subbing COR for MAB roll and QD? I can hit some high 700's on QD with my COR in an MAB/QD/Leaden salute build. That might improve the damage further over a /SAM build

Nah, I've just been going /Sam. I don't have many good rng atmas yet but I'm working on it. I got Stout Arm yesterday, and I want to try Drifter/SA/the 5TP regain+slow one.

Rng/Cor could be a possibility... If I swap the -enmity grip for Rose, that+ rajas, AF3+1 legs and the stp+2/racc earring would keep me 5hit (dont have the gear for 4hit /sam yet)

To be honest, the Trueflight numbers are nice, like I said it's around 2.2k and very consitant with Ultimate/Beyond, the rare time it does resist (like the rare time you miss a gekko etc) it still does half for 1.1k.
But my TP damage is hurting though, I hit for around 150 a shot with HF+1 and silvers, compared to the 250ish other people see. Still, with Beyond/Ultimate I'm keen to give Repeating and Holys another go, see if it's viable.

But yeah, my TP damage does suffer significantly...

Machine XBow and Holy Bolts got old to me, fast. Firing every second or w/e, blargh. One of the selling points of guns to me was always that you can sit back a bit. With a Machine Xbow, your loss of efficiency if you slack in shooting again happens 2.5 times as much than with a gun.

Concidering Trueflight is bumped up from around 500 to around 2k with Beyond/Ultimate, I had high hopes that Holy bolt add damage would also get a significant bump. Grabbed a stack of holies and my old obow and went to try. Apollo's Staff and the two atmas and my holy add damage was still around the 60 mark.

So that sucks, it seems Light Attack+ and Magic Attack Bonus have no affect on Holy add proc damage.
That's a **** shame. Imagine if the atmas quadroupled holy damage like trueflight damage... hit for 50 per hit with hate free 200 add damage using a 130 delay xbow... the potential there would be so sick.
Sadly it wont work. /sigh

I'm rather surprised I haven't read anything on here about people using Jishnu's Radiance. I have Harrier +2, and I use Voracious Violet, Razed Ruins and Sea Daughter as my atmas.

With 5-hit gear and 7/tic regain, it's a pseudo 3-hit (20/shot + 2 tics of 7 = 34~ TP) with WS numbers dealing between 4k and 8k... depending on mob, stalwart's, and whether or not I'm lucky enough to have songs/rolls.

Most people don't have Woe Bow or Emp bow that's why :/ hard to say, I think RR/GH/VV might also be competitive with jishnu's, depending on whether losing the xhit is made up for by the increased critical boost from overcapping agi and 20% from gnarled.
