EES always been sh*t even before the nerf it was almost worthless to use.
Something along the lines of hundred fists would be much better, or maybe 1min of unnerfed RNG as 2h....

Well they tweaked NINs horrible 2 hour. Only a matter of time before they work on RNGs.

Lmao. I'm sorry but that sounds like an absolutely worthless 2 hour outside of screwing around. PPA's (CCA as it is now) main appeal isn't the 2 dmg over kabura or the ranged atack+10 but the whopping ranged accuracy+40 on it. You just basically suggested a ghetto version of Sharpshot become our two hour.

Anyone else go out immediately after the big nerf and EES a Wild Rabbit only to miss?

I'm just happy if it doesn't miss and that it comes close to my slug damage, o wait it still falls short a couple 100.

How about a 2hr that makes Quickshot activate 100% with 100% recycle for 60 seconds? Then make EES a 10 minute ability available at level 1 but exclusive to RNG like Call Wyvern for DRG. It sucks that EES is just like Slugwinder without the mods but I guess SE didn't plan on RNGs using EES except in osh*t! moments. I guess they banked on them using Detonator/Empyreal and didn't except RNGs to pile on tons of r.acc. I wonder if they'll give RNGs a stronger ws than Slugwinder with the level cap. 5.00 modifier is already awfully hefty. Especially with new bows/guns/arrows/bullets that are sure to come out, and that suspected new JA that let's RNG do double damage on their next RA...

10K DMG is asking to be nerfed. Even if 5K was average, a handful of Smn's and a couple of lvl 1 COR's could take out most NM stuff, let alone KSNM/ISNM/ZNM/whateverNM will just be a cakewalk.

I wonder how the ACC on that BP goes. Might be funny to watch a Zantetsuken MB volley on something like AV.

When my shell did Odin last, Zantetsuken did just under 7500 dmg. Probably due to the straight dmg reduction on odin. Anyway, my point in this thread is that our 2 hour has become extremely laughable. Pretty much all it had going for it was that it was a powerful instant attack. Now, we can't even really brag about that. Lower levels? Before Sidewinder? EES is still a devastating attack. Unfortunately it doesn't grow as we do really. It goes from being our instant ass saving attack to something we just fire off when we're bored most of the time.

Not that Eagle Eye Shot couldn't use some tweaks, but no one seems to have brought up all the various conditions that need to be true for Odin to do serious damage.

The opponent must be near or preferably at full HP.
The SMN must be near or preferably at full MP.
The SMN loses all MP upon use of the ability.
Damage depends on NM's total life, so is much weaker on lower level targets (ie Simurgh).
ToAU and 2 quests must be completed to obtain it.

None of these are true for EES, in particular if you can be at 1 HP and the opponent at 1% HP and it works fine. A SMN won't be killing something at 1 MP no matter what. Its also more reliable on non-NMs,(at least as far as I've heard) the OHKO chance is rather low to actually proc on non-NMs.

No, this is when you would actually miss EES or get it Blinked.

Odin also only does great damage when the mob is at ~100% HP. And god forbid RNG 2HR not be as great damage as Odin. Not like they don't have other ways to deal damage. Barrage, multiple sidewinders, EES vs one SMN using Odin. If you want to complain about 2HRs, go complain on the NIN, BLU or PUP forums.

EES could be made significantly better if they just changed it to a 100% accuracy attack with slugwinder's ftp and wsc. TP or other bonuses would also make it a bit nicer, but it's basically instant damage so they should just make it more accurate, more powerful, and more instant.

Straight up, an attack I can do only once every 2 hours should be able to do more than something I can do every minute.
