Merit JA or Snapshot/rapid shot?Follow
Just got a 3rd merit point and was wondering, if it's better to get one of the JAs, or should I work on getting snap/rapid shot, then worry about those?

IMO. Snap Shot 1st then Rapid Shot. The other are mainly based on play style and the type of events you plan to use your RNG for.
Snap > Rapid > Anything else.

Snapshot for sure since if you're spamming shots as fast as you can you'll adjust to the slightly faster rate.
Meh to rapid shot since it provides no real benefit if you're not spamming your RA macro and it's pretty easy to miss. Sure it has uses and your cat1's are limited so getting it can help, but I wouldn't put it above archery/marks merits, or even first couple str merits.
Of course what you do with your range really changes the order of what you want, but snapshot is pretty much always the winner. Rapid, not so much high on the importance latter.

This would work well if I didn't have my equip swaps filling up my ra macro. And having a equip swap macro and a ra macro separate is too much button delay for me.

Unless they changed again how rapid shot works, no. These macro not gonna work with rapid shot as they cut the maximum delay up to half when they proc. The 2.8s~2.9s animation overhead is still there.
