Just a quick FYI, folks... on the AF2 item where you have to go to Castle Oztroja...
I was told repeatedly that you HAVE to have Ranger as your main when you go to get this item. That's not correct. As long as you can get Scavenge as a ranger subjob, you can complete this section. I died three times trying to get this solo as my RNG and had absolutely no luck... so I switched to BRD75/RNG37, went back in and scavenged at the center of the pond and viola - got the earring on the first try.
My guess is, it's not checking to see if RNG is your main job. All the game cares about is that you can "scavenge".

RNG AF GuideFollow
I did the tiger run last week on my Bst75. First CC took it down to 50% and it hadn't really spammed gravity much. Second jug got it to 25% or so and it was spamming gravity and anything else it could almost constantly. I zoned out to heal a bit and when I came back out a RDM75/Nin was taking it on. He died just as system lag delivered an invite to help. Once a ls mate Drg75/whm came to raise us we pretty much cleaned its clock in no time. Rdm only had to dispell with us and our pets teaching the poor tiger the meaning of a good whipping. As others have posted I think it can be duo's by 2 75's is one can heal and dispell while the other is a good DD.

Interesting guide. I'd say this gave me a general idea of what the quests are like. Note though, for first job to bring to AF, you have to kill DarkSpark in Castle Zahl Bailey for the Bracers.
Heh. I was doing my Socks just now, and we got cocky, I know. Shouldn't have. Our 75whm friend forgot to come :D And so the pld went and changed to whm.
We went as ~70+SMN, 60-70?WHM, 75DRG/WAR, and I, a 57RNG(Idiot mistake of me going as /WHM becacuse I cheaped out on Sneak/Invisi).
We wiped.
It wasn't too bad. We got it down to ~25%. Our friendly neighborhood suicidal DRG loved tanking random stuff, so he tanked it. Did alot of Graviga and Roar for paralyzaga.
I 2hred, etcetc. SMN came underprepared and didn't have the gear to 2hr. They ended up sicing carby on it and trying to melee it. D:
I'd say good effort overall :) ^^;

This guide really will help me with this AF but about one thing I'm not sure.
I can do everything except of the 2 coffers with a other job. Can I also use another job for Ostroja and just /rng for Scavenge?

I'm having problems with the Unbridled Passion quest (Hunter's Socks). I've gotten my Hunters Beret, Bracers and Braccae. I have the quest in my quest log but when I go to Mhuara the Mithra just talks nonsense to me.
