Solo Qufim at 19Follow

Could I as an elf level 19 rng, solo in Qufim. I'm guessing subbing whm with barstonra and fighting worms. Like running in and shooting and then running out of it's casting range. I'll have best equip and etc... except leeping boots... or does anyone know a place I can solo at 19 with relative success.

Risky IMO... if I remember correctly everything in Qufim might still con IT at 20?
I think I tried this once in Qufim and found it to be too slow and difficult to make it worth the effort. Not to mention how Qufim has such heavy player traffic as to make this type of solo work to be more hectic near the tunnel exit. Then again, I PT'd more then I soloed...so it could be that I just wasn't very good at it.
The only other place I managed to successfully manage solo work on worms would be Korrolaka. I like it when it's quiet and the worms are evenly spaced out as to not cause any unexpected surprises.
FYI I didn't have WHM sub though..so you'd have an advantage there.

i think they made the qufim worms harder for rangers to solo
maybe all worms
but at least the worms in korrokola will be even to IT to your lvl and they are in general weaker than the IT worms in qufim i believe.
could be that they're about the same.
also you can still use maze makers for fairly good solo exp.

i think you're better off in a pt period, cheaper that way too, you don't have to do 100% of the damger = more arrows = more $$$.

Just join a PT at that level. You should be getting 200+ XP and chaining IT worms easily. It will be ~at least~ twice as fast leveling that way than solo. The have nerfed the the run in/shoot, run out of magic range, worm technique RNG's were able to use before. Another idea is get a WHM or RDM and PT only with them and have them heal while you shoot away.

It's really risky cuz another worm can pop up and you're deadmeat (especially since they love casting bind and stone II). I tried it before, too risky to be efficient. If you go out into the open fields, it'll be even harder because those giants can aggro you any time.

Forgot to add, at your lvl soloing quifim worms is a deathwish actually. I soloed from 18-23 in the korroloka tunnels.
