I was just wondering if at level 50 must i absolutely change to guns to remain an effective ranger. Can i just keep using bows? Thanks for your oppions in advance. :)
Use whatever you like. RNGs do plenty of dmg with bows, guns are just an option. It's all up to you. I havn't actually seen any RNG's with guns at all. All the 50+ I see in Jeuno have bows.

Guns are just to dang expensive to use. you will use 10-12 stack in a good pt. 7-8k a stack, that would be 70k-96k. Arrow on my server has drop in price by 50%. Scorpions are 1k-1.4k. I can see using guns in bcnm or fighting NMs. For lvling up it can be pretty expensive.
