Ok, i am real sorry for asking this but i couldnt find the thread at first glance..
I am a lvl 16 ranger, i have 2 bone rings +1 and a power bow +1 and a royal footmans headband thing. other then that i pretty much look like a warrior, with scale body, hands and feet. I have a travelers mantle and my ranger necklace.
Now to stop any shame i might get, what am i forgetting? I mean i have no problems dumping a few thousands for upgrades but the leaping/strider boots are a bit much also the hairpin is too :\

Why don't you just browse the AH. It's all there, not here. Anything with + R.Acc, R.Attk, AGI, STR, DEX is all good, other than that it's up to you.
Take a half hour to browse the AH, forums won't tell you anything more than the AH can.

There's a good RNG guide up at Gamefaqs.com for everything up to level 30. Just highlight all the gear that either has R-Attk and AGI and you got yourself a schedule for when to buy what...
Sounds like you're on track...Body pieces you might swap out for Lizard at 17. All the way to level 27 there isn't really anything exciting there. At 27 there are upgrades to Scale or you can go the resistance/robe route I took.
Martial Slacks at 24 was one of the few items I was a bit excited about...aside from the fact I look like I'm ready for a slumber party at the Brady's house.
Earrings we seem to be stuck with +ATTK for a bunch of levels until you get some Evasion later on. I'd call this better-then-nothing gear.

Not sure if this affects you much, but I stuck with scale mail(yeah the lv 10 stuff) up till 23 cuz i stuck to korroloka worms. I don't believe armor affects magic defense so I didn't bother. Anyway, I agree, there isn't much for a ranger to wear, but personally i'm going for the looks, always wanted to wear a tunic with the hoodie and all =p. lv 23, cant' wait to wear my martial slacks ^^
