Hume rngs and rng/ninjas: I need to pick your brainsFollow

Ok,
Im lvl 26 warr and I'm set on ranger. I have read about a million posts and it appears that people are starting to heavily favor ninja as the ranger subclass (particlualy for a agility challenged hume such as myself). After reading more about ninjas I realize the prospect of attaining/lvling a ninja might be a real pain in the ***.

How hard is the ninja quest?

Do ranger/ninjas typically go on the long agonizing scroll quests to get the utsemi blinkish ninjitsu?

When did you rng/ninjas do the ninja quest...did you put if off for a while?

As a hume, will I miss constantly if I dont sub ninja?

It is very tempting to keep my sub as warr. Are there any rng/warr humes out there who can talk to me?

Thanks for all your help!

1. You will want some high lvl player to help you on nin quest.
2. Its about 80-120k for blink in my server. Most nin I know do the agonizing quest.
3. Most ppl didn't put it off. I got it around lvl 20s when a jpn was willing to help.
4. You won't miss often. Rng don't really have trouble missing after lvl 28. You only need dual weild when the mob is significantly higher lvl with high evasion. Racial stats differences don't make a big difference.
5. I have all three subs for rng and also a hume ^^. I posted a long post about /war in other thread called "berserk stinks" I think. Basically, /war is the best if you got brd and/or in a organized party.

If you get help on the NIN quest of course it's easy, just stand there. Same goes for the Utsusemi quest. I'd say get the NIN before RNG and sub it from the start, but it doesn't really matter. Only at lvl 28 will it make the difference (dual archer knives) compared to a WAR sub or anything.

As komputer said you can sub WAR just fine. Ideally, WAR is best if you have a good BRD, but NIN does just as well. Unless you want to level both WAR and NIN as subs and swap them for when you're in a good party or a bad party, I'd just stick to one. Pick which one you like and go for it, since they both work just fine.

Definately not, as an Evlaan ranger, one of the jobs with the least AGI (even less than Hume), I hit more than I miss now :D

Of course getting up to lvl 30 is the only hard part, but even then you still don't miss to often. Just keep your equiptment upgraded and no matter what race you are, you'll have a great hit rate, especially after lvl 30.

Gears is what seperate Rangers. If you have good gears you wont miss much. rngr/nin is the best ranger in term of range acc. I'mm an Elvaan, so this is the route i took. I dont miss much unless its an uber IT mob.
