UNlike most of the other people hunting the Leaping Lizard for the Leaping Boots I got them on the first time first kill. My only thing is +3 AGI is great for a RNG since feet armor in this game suck, but the 250,000g they are going for could help out a lot too. I'm split on selling them what do you think.

Leaping Boots keep or sellFollow
Use them until something better shows up. Then sell them and buy the new item(s).
I would say keep them, they're pretty damn handy and as a ranger, you dont need armor and there arent many better footwears. 250k would easily last you till lvl 30 or maybe even 40 spending on equipment, arrows, etc. I'm a 20 rng and I've spent maybe......50k? After 24 arrows get alot more expensive, so the upkeep will rise. Unless you have high woodcraft skill (20+) you'll only be able to make your own arrows up till lvl 14.

Honestly, I'd do just that. Sell them (On my server, I think they're 350k in Jeuno) and work on my wood crafting. Eventually you'll be able to make great bows and excellent arrows.
Also, if you want the boots for the evasion, then get some Light Soleas. They're an easy drop from a NM in Giddeus or they're like 2k in the AH.
