Some Questions on RangerFollow

Hey guys, i'm a lvl 18 Thief right now and i'm interested in having Ranger is my main job. Since thieves give some Dex and AGL bonuses and are good with Dagger skills, and Daggers are probably the prime melee-weapon for Rangers, if they ever use melee :P, i think thieve make a well supportive sub. My main question is when i use my thief, his bow and boomerang attack range seem the same. Do rangers have a better bow range and shoot further? Because naturally a Bow should shoot further than Boomerang so i'm just wondering will a MainJ in Ranger let you shoot further? thanks peeps

I haven't really noticed any difference in the distance you can shoot a bow between thief and ranger. I never used a boomerang, so I don't know how the distances compare to that of a bow, but I'm fairly sure that ranges are the same for every class that can use a gievn weapon, and that ranges are the same for all the bows.

One difference you'll notice is that later on, there are bows that only the ranger can use.. (not to forget the guns!) :)

Non-rangers shoot as far and as hard; but they don't get bow weapon skills, sharp shot, or eagle shot :)
