This is the ? thats prob been answerd so many times but whats better for rangers bows or guns or whats the dif. I heard that guns do more dmg but miss alot and bows dont or something like that i know half the people are going to say its up to you what you want but i want to know whats good and whats the ups and downs of each.

They use different skills - archery and marksmanship. Bullets are hideously expensive, and training marksmanship up to a good level must involve tens of thousands of gil... but from what I understand, a gun in the hands of a skilled ranger can pack a real wallop.

you can raise markmenship with bolts/crossbow (which are much cheaper than bullets), i personaly have been raising my markmenship and archery while i level and doing a ton of crafting.
Oooooooh, crossbows improve marksmanship? Verrry nice. I still haven't managed to raise archery to max yet; I don't know how I could raise them both. But I had better get to it; my marksmanship at level 12 is a big round nothing.

So that means you're not intelligent enough to figure out where to put the punctation yourself?
Get a grip man this is a forum not a formal C.V. If you had brains you'd work out what he said easy enough. I understood exactly what he was saying so why couldn't you I wonder....
Look I even used full punctation and correct grammer so you could work out what i was saying, cause i'm kinda thoughtful to people with learning disablities like yourself.
I got 57 marksmanship and im not even a ranger yet. I dont think im gonna level up my bow skill cause im lazy. I just can't stand leveling up another wep skill i might not even use. Do you think you should stick with marksmanship the whole time?
I can definently tell it does more damage and maybe even better accuracy. Plus ill have Sniper shot by the time im 25 or so which is the lowest level possible. And what the skill cap for marksmanship is it 150? or 80? If it is 150 i would stick with marksmanship and not change.

That's not what I meant, I meant it feels like the more marksmanship i got the more damage i did. I wasn't comparing it to archery. Am i correct? I thought skills did more damage and better accuracy.
