Ranged Attacks as a Ranger :: World of Warcraft

Hello All,

Im pretty sure i know the answer to this but i thought i would ask anyways. As a Ranger do you get the option of auto attacking with yout bow (like a warrior auto-attacks with his sword)?

No the thing is u need to be careful how often you shoot i do 5times more damage than any1 else in me party with me bow and firing off heaps of shots is ok if its a monster with little hp cause you can kill it quick but with bigger monsters yer best not too shoot often or they come after you like a whm casting benediction and rangers cant take the punishment.

One thing that is cool, is that you get to use both your held weapon and bow weapon skills; I'd imagine our archery skill would be beyond what anyone else would work theirs to.

But no, you can't autoattack with your bow; and with the cost of arrows, not sure you'd really want to.

I havn't run into any high level arrows yet but so far I've only seen arrows under 20 gil/piece, which translates to about 1980 for a stack, which is really nothing. If I ever see 100g arrows, then I'll be worried.
