Bale Gauntlets or Pavor for Absorb TPFollow

Pavor seems to be 10% boost but can't find the boost for Absorb TP, I assume it'd be more powerful because it's only one spell unlike pavor which covers any absorb spell.
If it's also 10% it'd just make my macro life simpler and then there's no need just to macro in bale for absorb tp.

On another random question, do absorb spell boosts on different gear stack and if they do how? As in either multiplicative or additive?

Pavor hands stack with Liberator.
Plastron set pieces have a different effect, so they most likely stack.

I have not seen testing with Pavor Hands and Abs-TP, but Pavor Hands is a straight +10% to abs-stat and it it applies to Abs-TP, then it's probably 10% as well.

I do not know if Bale hands stack with Liberator (or if Liberator even affects Abs-TP).
Except Pavor hands, I can not think of any other gear that can boost Absorb-TP.

Ah sorry, but i was actually wondering if you think the Absorb TP boost for bale is greater (being that it's a boost to a single absorb) than pavor which is a 10% boost to all absorbs.

There's a wide and shared belief that Absorb-TP was nerfed around the level 90 uncapping that made it available subbed, and Bale hands bump it back to what it was.

10% of 90TP is still just 99TP, when it's fairly apparent that Bale pushes more like a 50-100% bonus, or perhaps lets you absorb up to 100% of a mob's current TP instead of just 50% of its current, which was the apparent nerf to me; smack something three times and ATP would only give ~25TP instead of the 50TP that should still be available, but you'd still get 90TP returns if something was getting tons of TP. ATP is still a bit spotty to pin it down, but once I wrote the extra set to use Bale hands it suddenly became far more reliable. I love dropping two WSes on a staggered mob in Dyna then ATP'ing for a third, so if I wanted a consistent venue to test in that'd be it.

I know this thread (and seemingly every other) is about a year old, but I haven't found great value in taking the time to use Absorb TP when in roughly the same window of time it takes to cast the spell (and whatever melee delay comes before or after casting), I can gain the necessary TP to WS anyway. I suppose in these times, when alliances are zerging mobs, ATP isn't as useful. Then again, maybe I'll try to focus on using it more often.

I macro in Pavor gauntlets, because in addition to the boost in Absorb, they also boost Dark Magic skill by 10. I macro in the Pavor Gaunts and the Bale Sollerets +1 every time I cast any Dark Magic.
