Started my Reckoning trial, 50% done with part two Spinning Scythe. Can't wait for store tp scythe. Also bought entire Aurore set mostly for the COR lulz when I hit 78 in addition to getting Perle Brayettes for DRK.

Dinged 76-80 and got full Perle set last night. Abyssea is pretty sweet.

DRK can't equip!

My burn out finally blew over enough for me to log in, and not more than two minutes after putting my flag up I scored an Abyssea party.

79 1/2, full perle now spoke too soon, by the time I got back to jeuno both of the bodies that were up had sold :|

Guess I get to start hacking my XML and hammering out what I can throw away stash until I get back on PLD. Also, auto-Sekkanoki coding for next level.

Hellish week. 80 DRK, full Perle with swaps completely reworked (still no auto-sekka xml). Two Reckoning trials done. Still only halfway done with amorphs because level 19 people are hard to find and Dolls are more fun than Slugs.

Ding, 77PLD/37WAR

I had no intention of leveling PLD past 75 when I was finishing /WAR.

Now.. what to merit.

Cruadin is one less DMG and one less STR, but four levels earlier.

Balin's also has the INT for Spinning Slash.

But Cruadin rapes its face savagely in Campaign. Critting madly for 200s never gets old.

Also, PLD can use Cruadin, and Balan's (PLD's analogue to Balin's) was pretty rare for a little while (just before I got my Algol anyway).

I'm having a hard time finding a Magian that beats Algol hands-down for PLD/SAM wankery though. Had a TA Proc Spinning Slash on a Ro'Maeve Doll for 1491 tonight. Feels good man.

Forgot my ding, 77 PLD. Rather, 78 minus a few thousand xp, and minus a few thousand more when my dumb weakened ass decided to poke a random stray chest in Abyssea against my normally better judgement.

Yeah a Kaj might be sweet, but I'll have to work out hit builds before I even start the damn thing because I might still need my Rajas already to take advantage of the STP version (just like with my STP scythe still in the works).

I also already have an OA3 scythe on the table, though Abyssea parties might take a decent chunk off the Plantoids segment if I can get the damn amorphs done.

I just can't get over the UNF UNF UNF triple attacks. Thats why I decided on OA3 (or pending update, OA4) scythe or bust, just for spectacle.

Finally... After nearly a year of killing Eldritch Edge over 70 times... I got my Helenus's earring. Not terribly relevant to drk, yeah, but I will be using the set for the macc on drains, I suspect. I never have to kill that goddamn weapon again! /Cheer

Well, it's mostly for my blm, with bonus point for working in 60 cap (For teh leet squid-killing). Also, nice as abyssal looks, I think I might go for suppa if/when I do that fight.

Reckoning +1, the WS dmg+ variety this morning. Started an Anarchy and on the third trial. Going much faster with Haste + Blitzer's + Joyeuse.

11 merits, finished Group 2 DRK finally.
Pumped Dark Magic Skill twice.
Still only 3/3 LR recast and effect, but those aren't too important.

Capped Scythe, 352
Capped Evasion, 280

Up to 334 Dark Magic skill now, but still uncapped and Endark is way too slow for passive skilling even as our only option.

600/600 Plantoids, on to the Peiste I guess.

OAT scythe, even low-damage, is sexy.

From what I understand, Plat. Grip only procs on the first swing.

Okay, it's a finicky bitch.

In Abyssea with cruor buffs, I could have sworn my Triple rate was closer to 50% than 20%, and more than once I had three or more triples in a row.

Then I went to campaign to hit a fort and parsed 7% DA rate and 4.5% TA rate over 100-something rounds, and only seemed to be throwing singles after an initial burst. Sh*t's borked son!

I have had an inkling that the multihit rate may be tied to current TP, dropping off as you build higher. It was easy to go from 17-20tp to 100tp in two rounds, but going from 200tp to 300tp seemed to take as many rounds as possible.

This is definitely an interesting prospect because it's exactly what I would do to multihits in the advent of /DNC. I may have to make a grip-swap-spam-macro (assuming it doesn't dick with delay) and reparse on a fort to see if anything changes.

This would definitely explain the apparent reduced DA rate of the OAT path (it may start at 45% or 50%, but falls off as TP rises), and the method of parsing comes into play (if it was in combat while spamming WS or swinging endlessly at a construction at 300tp). Does anyone have explicit links to where the OAT 40% info came from?

Well it ain't much but DRK 85, AF3+1 helm :P Now to go do my 720 remaing ws on bats.... any ideas?
