trying to find a good spot to farm... sick of just killing beastmen for gill any suggestions?

Go there, check what sells well and is easy to farm for reliably. Most people wont just flat out tell you what they farm for. Especially on a forum. If they did, people would just jump all over it, undercut each other, and destroy the value of the item.

how ignorant of me, but you are absolutely right lol
If you have a good MDT build, I made almost all my money off Avatar runs. I could start and finish a run in about 2.5 hours (after days and days of practice) including the pickup of the tuning fork to the turning in of the tuning fork. I'd suggest you set your homepoint in Sandy if you do this, though, as it's the hardest of the forks to reach if you don't have a fast way there. PLD's able to solo it quite well. I really made it easy by 2-boxing a RDM (who I geared to melee through enspells) and raked in about 105-110k per day doing this that I split between my two characters. If solo, you'll want to use DD gear where you can and do your best to survive the 2-hour (it's fairly easy, but sh!t happens sometimes and you just eat a full unresist through a stoneskin and bite it big). Barspells are your friend.
In regards to my brother getting banned, I think it had something to do with this - he had 6 smns that he and another brother would run through, netting 330k per day that he stored on one of the characters. Despite being a legitimate way to make gil (if you own all the accounts), SE dropped the hammer and we've given up fighting over it. I can't believe it was a credit card issue any more after seeing some of the other reports in the same time period and the accusation of RMT behavior. So long as you're doing this with only one or two characters, I think you'll be fine

Which avarter is best to tried it with? titan? lol
also u menthion u use DD gear and use stoneskin and barspell, i assume u use rdm sub tho, also do u use atonement spam on the mob?
when 2hr, switch to full MDT gear? after 2hr back to DD gear with haste follow by shield skill gear?

Pretty much that. Its not a hard solo. In fact not keeping stoneskin up isn't really a big deal. Just need Barspells and good magic def gear for the 2 hour. I haven't found 1 any harder than the others honestly.
You don't need atonement to solo, vorpal works. Gear for DD, use your best WS, swap in IR and any other -mdt or mdb that you have for 2 hour. Decent DD and surviving 2 hour are the biggest things. I find avatars easier to solo drg/rdm just because I can kill them off much quicker.

As Yashnaheen said, you don't need Atonement, although it would speed things up a lot. /RDM is necessary. I kept stoneskin up because I didn't want to have to rely on my MP for curing and stoneskin is far easier on the mp than curing constantly, but your mileage may vary. The only thing that matters is you figure out a way to kill the avatar before the 30 minute mark.
It's on that count, too, that I list my least favorite of the avatars. Leviathan can be such a bastard through Spring Water spam. You can recover from it, but it gets difficult when every time you get him to 20%, he jumps back up to 30% and you're getting close to the 5 minute mark. However, chances are, if you survive the two-hour, you'll be fine. Even if you don't, if you fight far enough away from his starting point (the bend works wonders), you can reraise and will most likely have time to kill him. Just don't fight at the top or near the top and try to cast spells within about 20-25 yalms of him - the avatars seem to have enhanced magic aggro detection.

If you are not fighting on the strong days, like titan on earrths day, your barspells on PLD/RDM will be plenty strong enough to get you through the avatars.
mix inthe normal stoneskin/phalanx and what not and i think any pld can do it. Leviathan gives some PLD/RDM an issue due to how he cures himself up.
