Note: Just comparing these 2 weapons, for DD purposes. Justice is not an option, for example. I want these 2 weapons compared.
There is an incredible price difference in Organics over a Company sword (IE. Could sell the Organics and purchase Dusk Legs and other pieces if the Company performs better), and wanted to know which would be better do main hand in a DD/Merit situation. (Full party assumed)
Do the perks on the Organics outweigh the higher base damage of the Company?
If off-handing a Joy wasn't an option, would that change?

Organic / Joy : Company / Joy?Follow
Honestly, Company beats Organics in most situations. 50+ D value for tping, along with the D46 vorpals is pretty sweet vs D49 Vorpals with +3% crit and +10 attack. Organics will put out the bigger vorpals, company will do better DPS. /Joy tends to favor Organics because most of your DPS is from the Joy and it feeds TP into the Organics, but from what I can tell, Company still wins in the end.

But the conclusion is -basically- the same. Organics might sometimes pull ahead, but only really negligibly. Other times Company will win by a small amount. That being said, Company Sword is by far the better purchase if you still have other AH upgrades to get.

It's a Side-Grade. Do you want to look cool or do you want to have more gil?
I got the drop fron the zNM and have gil, so I choose to look cool.
