More of an LS accomplishment since I was the only PLD there, but took down DL on our first attempt.

Before the first CSS wore off.

Mantle and 1 100x, Mantle went to a good friend who also got WLegs this week.

This may be long. I'd trim it, but I'm too damned happy about it. Short version. Beat CoP as PLD, 2/28/09 0028 EST, got Chivalry merited down to 15 minutes, and got my revenge on the boreal coeurl last fortnight.




tl;dr wot version.

Completed CoP. Just over an hour until JP midnight to go until I can do my cs's and get my Rajas. 1/1 on everything except OU (1/2, first try was just.... lolz, all that can be said about it) and the pots (1/3, first two attempts were with 5 people, and a stupid strat. Third attempt I found a blm (ty Harlie!!) and we played more aggressively, ended 8 seconds off the record.) Took ever so slightly a month to get from needing 4-2 to completing 8-4.

Oh, we were 1/2 on Promathia as well. First was again with 5, and 1 member saw Prishe engage on second form and thought that meant must go must go now. Hilarity ensued, and we didnt get a second chance that night because I started getting yelled at for being late for Limbus.


Amusingly, the 2k earned for beating Promathia finished off the 5 merits needed to put another modification into Chivalry. So, now it's @ 15 minutes, only 100k more to go til @ 10.


Gotta give huge thanks to my ls, the static I wound up in was 5/6, and up until getting to Chapter 8, that's always where the 6th came from. Also, everyone in my static performed exceptionally. We all make mistakes, but every time one of us would screw something up, we were able to regroup and work around it. Great job guys.


Somewhat outdated: Three years ago ish (there was a two year break in there) I had to tank my own Genkai 2, and ate a Burst from the Boreal Coeurl that laid me out. Couple weeks ago got asked to help a random person with their genkai 2. This time, Burst .... missed? I dunno, I had filters up, and popped Rampart. All I saw was it cast on me, nothing showed in the chat log, and I took zero damage. So HAH! REVENGE!



Man those feel tiny compared to teh 1337 homam shots ;; Oh well, everything in its time right.

On a side note... 3 Omegas in two weeks... 3 bodies... I hope the trend continues while I'm in line for Body.

I hit 56 and am taking a break to finish all my af. such a fun job

Hauby is better for dmg and there are better turtle pieces, but I suppose homam is a nice offensive boost without any penalties and some hp and mp to boot. Not 75 pld yet so maybe it's ok for them?

I'm so glad I'm not stuck wearing brownpants whenever I take PLD out, also 17% haste now. Not sure if I should go for homam hands or feet next, not like either will drop at once though. It seems like our Omegas like to deal out homam on a 1 head : 1 everything else basis.

Tests done by another THF showed the same 1% increase that non THF found.

Haub(+1) is no doubt a better DoT piece/ws piece(non atonement ws), but on HNM you are only after TP gain/increased hit rate.

Even 1% triple attack increases weapon skill frequency, more so the longer the fight goes on.

Now the argument could be made that the atk/str would make for less 0s, but i do not know the math for that against HNM level mobs so do not know if it would in fact win in TP gain because of the str/15atk over 1% triple.

Very few things I hit 0 on with the addition of pizza, I currently own haub+1 and Homam body, use Homam as my melee idle.

If anyone has the math showing that haub+1 would win out in TP gain (and only TP gain as that is all that I am interested in) would appreciate a PM!

Dunno if this really counts, but the Sea Horror raped me before I had a subjob. Yesterday, it got to see what it feels like. Revenge is so sweet.

Ding 75 + 1 merit point! Sword is capped but shield 7 levels low. But this is my first job to 75~

Well, after having waited almost 8 months since I last tanked anything remotely dangerous on my PLD, I got to tank Hakutaku as a nice...warm up. Hopefully it'll be a good sign that I can get back into end-game soon and tank some more big stuff. ^.^

I also, FINALLY, got access to IR gloves and head. Gogo Magic damage reduction macro! I'm up to 9 M.D.B and -20% magic dmg in gear now, or 10% if I don't put the iron ram lance on. Need IR pants and a second merman earring =D

Koenig Feet from Odin!!

Not that they are useful for much, if anything other than a terror setup, but still that much closer to on of my first dreams as a paladin, full Koenig!

Also am next for Valhalla Helm and Body!
