X-hit, what was the final verdict?Follow

It's really going to depend on buffs; At 90 6 hit was generally superior to 5 hit and more flexible; while some options have improved assuming accuracy isn't an issue (all the time inside and varies outside depending on what you use War for) 5 hit is fairly close to or ahead of 6 hit, but it's not worth using if you're not willing to eat Arrabiato.


A decent group could kill Panto at 90, just pay attention and don't heal him during TP or WS or he might 2 hour, that's the only reason the fight is annoying. The chariot is fairly easy, Triturator is just proc and kill fast before he 2hours too often.

Fafhogg is force pop, you have to do KSNM for Faf pop > pop FAf > pray TH does something at high level and you get Nid pop, or get a small group and do Ein (not sure on numbers needed for this anymore but don't need as many as 75 cap did).

The crafted version works as well in place of R. Mail at least, the sphere affect isn't that important...

Mekira crafted version is Physical Damage Taken- not Damage Taken- but otherwise serves the same purpose unless you get caught in the wrong set for some reason.

Depending on how easy they are to obtain, some of the new Askar +5 pieces will likely become strong contenders for the best TP pieces in their respective slots, or at least better than what is currently available (since we don't know what all else they may add in the version update).

Likewise, there are a couple pieces that will stand in strong contention as being better options for WS than what we currently have available, so waiting till we see what all comes out (especially since the update is only a few days away) before you dump a lot of gil into it may not be a bad option.

I am of the opinion unless you have nothing else to do I wouldn't spend too much time trying to perfectly max out sets since as Vlor wrote, quite a few pieces are looking to become obsolete next level cap. The exception is haste belts, no new good haste belts have been revealed so far. For DT sets nothing replaces Mekira body either.
