I keep looking around different threads to see if anyone posts where Lacertrice is dropped from, and so far no one has anthing posted. I was just wondering if any of my fellow warriors could point me in the right direction.

Sorry it's called Laceratrice. It's a Great axe, I don't really have the time to grind out Ukon, but i'd like something that's closer to it than what i have. Laceratrice started showing up since the most recent update, but as of yet no one's posted where it comes from. It's rare and only and seems to be going for 1-2 mil.

No, nothing was mentioned in the maintenance notes, so looks like some people are still doing this fight and hoping that chest loads, cos there's been a few sales on Siren
Does the extra Double Attack DMG from widowmaker still beat this?

No, it won't. The Laceratrice's base DMG is 4 points higher than the Widowmaker's, which in itself is a huge step up damage wise and by itself is going to do more for your TP and WS damage than the "Increases Double Attack Damage" effect from the Widowmaker (it was just eyeballing, but when I had the weapon I noticed no significant boost to the damage of my melee swings when Double Attack proc'd over single swings.
Then if you factor in the critical hit rate +4% on the Laceratrice which, provided you're not at the 95% critical hit rate cap (which you likely won't be hitting even inside Abyssea most of the time), the Laceratrice is the clear winner, and currently is the best non-Magian Great Axe in the game.

Nope, never done the battle for it, and obviously I'd say that regardless cause it just is that much better of a Great Axe over a Widowmaker.
