Hi fellow Warriors,

Now I understand the answer to the question "Which Great Axe do you do for Trial of the Magians" is hands down Ukon, let's suppose that for now a Ukon is not a realistic possibility for me (long line, already doing another Emp, etc.).

Which Trial Great Axe would be best to do as an alternative?

My list of possibilities:

Maschu +2 (great DPS, Ukko's Fury, but 30x coins /sadface)

Kunlun +2 w/ Double Attack +8 (good base damage and double attack on a weapon slot is nice)

Sumeru +2 (undecided on which of the TP bonus, WS damage, or Store TP would be best)

Atlas +2 (I'd assume STR path)

Can you give me some insight on which one I should actively go after? Also, assume my shell won't be going after Alfard anytime soon (and again, long line).

I did the -pdt Atlas+2. This is mainly because I mostly dual box as War/Mnk (counterstance is much easier to manage than shadows). Also, I do a few FC for stuff and the -pdt really helps when I don't have a Rdm to Phalanx2 me. I found out that some mobs are easier to FC than others because they dealt less damage. With a high -pdt I figure I can overcome that problem and do slightly more damaging mobs.

For DD gaxe, I personally think Maschu+2 or Widowmaker. I personally like the widowmaker more since it's more realistic until SE change WOE into something that can be done much easier.
