Whats the winner in this equation for TP build? You gain 1% more haste, but lose the Atk +5.

I'm leaning towards the haste.

The only way that the +5 Att is going to do better than the 1% more Haste is if you're already at capped gear Haste with just the NQ Dusk (Given the gear available nowadays, that's definitely possible to do).

timarli, just for the convenience of not having to deal with dusk's -movement speed

Except if it were baby photos, it would be like looking at before and afters of Michael Jackson. Only instead of turning into a white guy, he changes into a chick!

Because /equip macros are hard? Dusk's movement speed should never be a deciding factor.

If you aren't capped on haste the timarli will win, though seeing as how they come from a zone boss they aren't going to be easy to come by. I am waiting until I see the stats on the next set of abyssea gear before I start putting major effort into something like these.

You gain 4 str, Timarli beats even hq dusk. For dual wielding it's a tossup between 4str and 6att on the hq, but the fact of the matter is that macros or not, being able to move at normal speed in your haste gear is easily worth a loss of a whopping 3 att, even if your fstr is capped.
