(I'm sure I have missed some things, so let me know and I can update the OP)

Overall I am pleased with the update. Ukko's Furry sounds like Raging Rush -1 (baring the "slows target" effect).
For me the meat thus far is in the AF3. Gaining +9% DA (even if it does have diminishing returns every bit helps), 12% Haste, and Enhances Retaliation (guessing it allows for retaliation to go off with a greater than 47.5% chance assuming capped accuracy).

Then there is the augment Double Attack (I just realized there are two more AF3 pieces to come... good god). How can double attack be augmented further (this is assuming "augments" means the way it functions and not "enhance" which increases proc)? Double attack hits can now double attack (that would be interesting)? Double attacked hits deal more damage? What do you guys/gals(lol) think?

You would be correct. I only looked up the info on Xanthe's site for this update. Just checked the older
.dat minings and it's already there. Thanks for pointing it out.

As for haste, it seems SE is aiming for AF3 to have melee cap gear haste.
(I must admit I jizzed when I saw MNK's AF3. Now when I come back to XI next month I need to decide if I should go MNK or WAR. I am sad that my Haidate will obsoleted, as I only got my pair in April).

I'm hoping that the slow on Ukko's Fury is potent/stacks with mage and brd slow.

Its funny to think Haidate is going to become obselete - and Salvage armor's >< (but you know SE will have trials planned for salvage bodies for 99 cap that will make them ultimate body pieces in game, and I know they'll be mega tough trials too)

Not yet.

You need to cap haste withouth walmart turban to be worth it to use a non-haste piece.

With OVNI belt, you need a total of 19% haste in your armor.

That means we still need 7% haste on hands + body for walmart to be retired. Hence Lolgaxe's comment.

You need 6% from hands and body, WAR can still wear Blitz Ring. Dusk +1/Timarli Dastanas and Timarli body will do it. You trade 25 Dex and about 9 converted acc for 8 att, 9% DA, 1% Haste, and the set bonus. It seems worth it to me as long as you don't need the acc. Then again, it's not required to cap gear Haste anymore, since March tiers get better every update.

edit - Meaning you only need about 24% gear Haste with all other buffs, and don't need to worry about the body.

though it does make me wonder what the body will look like.(stat wise)
would be cool if it was like a hauberk-ish like build and add more haste and DA.

something like 20str,dex and vit. 2%haste and 5+% DA 20-30 att and acc.
that would be awesome.

It turns out the level 85 (I think it was 85) are the augmented or magianed or whatever upgrades to current relics. My looking around showed most, if not all, have a higher level equivalent with higher damage. Which, is kind of lame, really. The only upgrade is the base damage it looks like. I know, I know, the process just to upgrade the base relic is a pain, but come on.

idk but yesterday i was compairing the att, acc, haste with just perle head, body, hands, legs and feet to 2 other sets both had adaberk and timarli dastanas but one had the current full ravager's +1 and the other walmart, byakko's, and perle feet.

my math may be off but i noticed a 43.5 acc from w/ ravager and 36 acc from the other. this also is including dex and if you had a GA.

if i ever get the ravager's +2 personally i would rather eat a pizza and keep double attacking 1 out of ever 3 turns.

also with that i can see if we went war/sam added a bit of STP and then stacked as much DA as possible there wouldn't be a speculation who would win anymore btwn war and sam. just need to add a BA GA and we would be set.

hmmmm, just eyeballing the stats, I'd say this is better for KJ if you need the acc, or if you wanna ***** out more STR in other slots where you have acc already, and for RR, I'd probably lean towards ravager's too.

edit: is it sad that I can come to the above conclusions with 90% confidence from just a quick glance at the stats?

SAM actually got very little with the level cap increases, and hasn't been in the running for top dog for a while now. Before this update DRG was edging out WAR, right now I'm not so sure. We need more information on set bonuses, and some stats appear to have been retroactively changed from 76-80.

I would jump to the same conclusions but I always check Stat Mods first.

RR is what, 35% STR?

KJ is 60% STR?

I haven't seen a very inaccurate camp in Abyssea except for Frogs and I don't think 14 Acc is going to help out a lot (probably be better just to have me or another DD switch to our 5/5 Feint merited Thieves)...

...then again with a +50 STR permanently in Abyssea, the STR difference Heca adds probably isn't going to help out a lot either.

In which case the Double Attack and Crit Hit mods are more than likely the delta.
